offbeat beta
Pricing, plainly

One tier. A fair price. No surprises.

Offbeat does not sell a crippled free plan next to a real one. There is one engine, the full premium engine, and every surface uses it: this site, the MCP server in your editor, the CLI, and your own key.

Now: the launch month

  • Everything is open. No account, no card, no catch.
  • Hosted rewrites ride a small honest lane: eight per day per person, capped at 8,000 words per text.
  • Sign in early if you like: your personal trial is ready for when the open month ends, and signed-in users get a higher daily lane.

After it: your own trial, then $5 a month

  • Every new user gets their own free trial, started by signing in with an email code. No password, no card.
  • When the trial ends, premium continues at $5 a month.
  • One subscription covers every surface: web, MCP, CLI, your own key.

What the subscription pays for, honestly

The premium analysis is the product: corpus-derived rules that run only on our servers, in both languages, Arabic as a first language. Hosted rewriting also runs on our bill, with a fair-use ceiling of sixty rewrites a day per account so one script cannot spend everyone's money. When you rewrite through the MCP server or the CLI, your own editor's model does the generation, so there is no ceiling on it; the subscription covers the premium scoring.

What never needs an account

The instant preview in the web tool runs in your browser and stays there; it is a convenience of this page, not a tier. Everything that scores a text, on every surface, is the premium engine on our servers: there is no offline analysis mode anywhere, and the MCP server and CLI return a clear error rather than a weaker local result when the analyzer is out of reach.

The deal, plainly

You get the full engine at no cost for a month, then a personal trial, then a price that costs less than the coffee you drink while editing. We get real-world texts telling us where the engine falls short, through the feedback form, never by mining your submissions. Payments open at the end of the launch month; nothing is charged before then, and this page will say so when that changes.

Team plans and a keyed developer API are on the roadmap, not on sale yet. Tell us what you need.
